The CVRB will be situated on one of two important sites flanking the north gateway to the UCSF Mission Bay campus. The 230,000-square-foot building is organized as three floors of laboratories above ground-level support functions, with emphasis placed on user interaction. Multidisciplinary “neighborhoods” will allow for integration of research activities and clinical applications in the field of cardiovascular medicine.
